I’m inspired by the visual language used in metal bands and live music atmospheres. I strive to make jewelry that looks like how the music makes me feel. I achieve this by contrasting sharp and fluid organic forms in my work. I make these pieces in sterling silver  typically, using a variety of metalworking techniques such as casting, hand fabricating, enameling, and stone setting. My design work is subtle, playing off of the familiarity of mainstream jewelry designs with an edge to create pieces that are alternative and elegant. In a world where alternative jewelry has become mass produced, mainstream, and cookiecutter, I create handmade unique designs that nod to alternative styles but can be universally worn in any setting.
